Hydraulics Seminars

Basics of Hydraulics HY-G (3 days):
  • Physical principles
  • Function, construction and use of pumps, motors, cylinders, directional, pressure, flow and lock valves, reservoirs and filters.
  • Operation of variable pumps with pressure, flow and output controllers.
  • Practical exercises with design of basic circuits, controlled manually and electrically.
  • Start-up and maintenance of hydraulic systems.
  • Reading of circuits and functional diagrams.
Electrohydraulic Control and Control Technology HY-A (3 days):
  • Proportional valve technology: mode of operation and features of proportional valves, valve electronics, start-up aids.
  • Use of proportional valves: adjusting the valve characteristic, ramp functions, hydraulic positioning axis in open control chain.
  • Control and servo valve technology: construction and features of control and servo valves.
  • Use of control and servo valves: position control circuit, natural fre-quency, circuit amplification, setting of position controllers.
  • Practical exercises on the subject areas.

Project Planning of Hydraulics Systems HY-Proj (2 days):
  • Selection criteria for switch hydraulics components such as core data and steady-state characteristics.
  • Design of pumps, motors, cylinders, pipes, hydraulic accumulators, filters and heat exchangers.
  • Construction aids.
  • Selection of operating media.
  • Work steps in project planning, using a circuit as example.
Basic principles of mobile hydraulics in agricultural and municipal engineering HY-ML (4 days):
  • Optimisation of hydraulic plants under consideration of economic aspects.
  • Use of load-sensing valve, proportional and regulating valve technology.
  • Components and systems for load-compensated hydraulic systems.
  • Structure and mode of operation of mobile directional control valve blocks.
  • Comparison of constant current and constant pressure systems.
  • Proportional valves with CAN bus for mobile hydraulics.
  • Digital electronic lifting gear control - EHR – for tractors and combine harvesters.
  • Examples of use, practical exercises
  • Hydrostatic fan drives for vehicles.

Participants:
  • HY-G and HY-A: Specialists in assembly and maintenance, operations electricians, technicians and engineers in development, construction, training and further training.
  • HY-Proj: technicians and designers who plan, project or build hydraulics systems.
  • HY-ML: Mechanics and workshop managers from the areas of agricultural and municipal engineering. Experts from the fields of assembly and maintenance in mobile hydraulics.
